ThinkTea is free for art and comic jams.
Every feature, for every team — free from two days before your jam to the deadline, then read-only for 30 days to export or keep. No trial, no credit card.

Critique that points at the drawing, not at a paragraph about it
- Annotation pins placed directly on the artwork — on the panel, on the hand, on the line
- Image and PDF annotation, so page layouts and zine spreads get marked up in place
- Reference boards and an infinite canvas for moodboards and character sheets
- Page and panel trackers, so a comic team knows what is inked and what is not
- 50 GB of storage per seat, pooled — room for layered files, not just flats
- Real-time collaboration for collaborative pages and anthologies
- No AI features at all, and nothing you upload is used to train a model
The no-AI part is not a setting here. Nothing you draw becomes training data, on any plan.
Two days early, editable for the whole jam
Access opens two days before your jam so nobody’s installing at the starting gun, and every team is free and fully editable right through to the closing whistle. After the jam ends the workspace stays read-only for 30 days so you can export or decide.
Pick your own dates. Global Game Jam sites, we’re looking at you: choose your 48 hours and just tell us when you register.
Who qualifies
Art jams, comic jams and anthologies, zine jams and zine quests, illustration challenges, and month-long drawing events. Any size — a small anthology counts as much as an open community challenge.
How teams get in
Organizers
Organizers: register your jam below. Once we approve it you get a public jam page — set your team and seat caps, then share the link.
Participants
Participants: open your jam’s page to start a team (and share its invite link) or browse and join an open one. Each team gets its own shared workspace.
Register your jam
A few details. We review by hand and email your event page link — usually within a day.
Your estimate helps us size your event’s team and seat caps — set it a little above your expected turnout. You can ask us to adjust it any time.
For organizers: a ready-to-paste blurb
Organizers won't write their own sponsor blurb — so here's one, ready to paste:
[Jam name] teams get ThinkTea free — a shared workspace for reference boards, page trackers, and critique pinned to the exact spot on the art, with no AI. Start or join a team at thinktea.me/jam/[your-jam].
Need a logo? Grab the brand pack — logos and a sponsor badge for every event type, SVG and PNG in light and dark, plus 50- and 100-word descriptions. Download the pack (ZIP) — or browse the files in the README.
What we ask in return
Please credit ThinkTea on your jam’s page and sponsor list — our name, logo, and a link back. That’s the deal: the full toolset for your whole jam, a mention in return. It takes a minute, and it’s how the next jam’s organizers find us.
After the jam
When the jam ends the workspace turns read-only for 30 days — every page, board, and upload stays exactly where it is, and export is always one click away. To keep editing (and keep it for good), any member can subscribe to Team ($4/seat per month) and it becomes theirs — the whole crew’s work, carried straight over. Workspaces that aren’t kept are removed after the 30 days.
No AI
ThinkTea has no AI features and never will — your work isn’t training data and your feedback isn’t autocompleted.
